Part number 35000-03 is a Suspension Control Unit (SCU) to replace the OEM SCU on Ducati Multistrada 1200 S 2010-2012.
The new SCU works together with the bike buttons and dashboard, and also gives the rider, the choice of Semi active suspension (Smart EC). That means adjustment of rebound and compression continuously and by itself on the ride, with damping levels depending on which mode the rider have chosen in the Ducati Dashboard. Ride fast and aggressive, and the damping gets sportier. Ride smooth and gentle and get a lot more comfort. Truly semi active suspension!
Installation is easy:
1) remove the OEM SCU
2) plug the new one in (under/left side of the front seat)
3) Start the engine and ride
